Michigan beers encompass over 300 different styles.  These styles range widely in color, alcohol, and flavor.   Michigan beers are truly able to meet any occasion.

Hops

Hops are an important ingredient in beer.  Originally added as a preservative to increase the shelf life of beer.  In many modern styles Hops are a prominent flavor.

Pint Glasses

A traditional serving amount is the pint glass.   Some breweries may offer higher alcohol beers in smaller glasses to keep cost to you down and promote more responsible consumption, but most utilize the pint.   The standard US Pint is 16 oz.
